USSSA Insurance
USSSA requires youth teams to have medical insurance coverage for the season. You may purchase insurance for your team, league or facility through USSSA. The USSSA policy has many great benefits and is extremely inexpensive for youth teams, starting at $121 per year depending on age and term. The USSSA Team Insurance policy will cover your activities (including participating in other sanctioning bodies: USA, NSA, PGF, etc.).

- Proof of adequate insurance must be kept with the team manager at all tournaments. The insurance need not be issued through USSSA, but must provide at least $1 million in liability coverage. Every year there are teams who think that they're adequately covered when in fact they either have no liability insurance at all (only accident coverage) or have very low liability limits. If you don't have USSSA insurance please email alexa.peterson@usssa.com a copy of your insurance. If you don't do this prior to the tournament you're required to present it before your first USSSA tournament in Oregon.
- Note: If you play in a USSSA tournament outside the state of Oregon, you'll need to give them your insurance separately.
